This neck came with a project parts bass I recently bought. The previous owner pulled the frets and filled the slots with epoxy, probably JB Weld. The fingerboard has been slightly planed from approximately the 11th fret up to the 20th…mostly on the G and D strings. The owner probably wanted to put the action low and had some sort of ski jump. Truss rod is screwed in all the way and does provide some counter pressure to the string tension, but in order to get the neck more straight, you’ll probably have to clamp the neck into a slight back bow and tighten screw. while this was attached to the body, it sounded good (nice wood vibration!) and played well considering that the nut needs to be lowered. There are no returns on this. it’s being sold as wall art/memorabilia, etc. I cannot give any guarantees as to what results you’ll get if you use this for your guitar project. Also, no partial refunds. Make your offer as though it’s broken. Questions? Ask away, I love to answer questions. Thanks and happy hunting!
