Ibanez AEL 2012 E-TKS 2012 - Black Semi-Transparent

This is a very beautiful, incredible condition, semi-transparent finish black stained jumbo 12 string. It is important to realize that Ibañez does not make guitars like this anymore. It is very hard to find a 12 string guitar that looks as nice as this and is made with quality materials like this, at this price, in today's market. I have been playing guitar for 50 years and purchased this because I could see what a fine guitar it really is. It's saddens me to see how modern Ibanez guitars have deteriorated in their quality and material choices. Please look at the pictures of this guitar and compare to anything out there now that is similar made by Ibanez and you will see that this guitar is a bargain at this price point. Their modern builds are much cheaper in price and do not use the same quality materials for construction. They do not offer semi-transparent stains over quality curly maple wood, and do not use high-quality gold plated tuners. This was back in the better days of Ibanez construction. Some of the other features have been consistent such as built-in electronics and on-board tuner which work beautifully. If you need a very affordable 12 string beautiful guitar to work with in a recording environment or live on-stage, I don't think you can find a better 12 string than this one at this price point. Taylor and Martin 12 strings will cost 5-10 times more, and this older Ibanez can compare, seriously. It has been a wonderful accompaniment for recording as the guitar has such a perfect sound and the pickup allows it to record directly into a work station or live performance.
