The most notable feature is that, unlike the previous American Vintage series which used a poly base coat and lacquer topcoat, this model uses lacquer from the base coat to the finish.

Therefore, you can enjoy the look and feel unique to vintage guitars, such as cracks and paint fading, as well as the changes in texture and feel that come with age. Furthermore, a new hard case and accessories are included, along with a comprehensive set of documents such as a guarantee card and instruction manual, allowing you to fully experience the atmosphere of the original release.

It features traditional wood materials such as an alder body, maple neck, and rosewood fingerboard. The "narrow" style, characterized by the close spacing of the position markers above the 12th fret—a feature typical of Fender guitars from this era—and the roundboard fingerboard, where the neck and fingerboard are joined with a curved surface, are faithfully reproduced, making this a rare specification not previously released in the "American Vintage" series. The pickups are also gray bobbin pickups, chosen to evoke the sound of this era, demonstrating a meticulous attention to detail.
