The Volca Keys is true analog polyphony in a package that fits in your hands. It's a 27-key, three-voice analog synth whose filter section is built on the circuitry of Korg's legendary miniKORG700S from 1974 — warm, characterful, and unmistakably analog. The Voicing function makes sound design instantly accessible: flip between full poly chords, detuned unison leads, octaves, fifths, and metallic ring-modulation tones with a single knob. A built-in delay (which even reproduces the pitch-bending behavior of an analog tape echo when you sweep the delay time), a 16-step loop sequencer with motion sequencing, and a self-tuning function that keeps the oscillators perfectly in pitch round out one of the most beloved entry points into analog synthesis ever made. Battery power and a built-in speaker mean it's a complete instrument anywhere you take it.
