Fender Standard Stratocaster – Made in Mexico (2000) – Original Owner – Excellent Condition

I purchased this Fender Stratocaster brand new in September 2001 for my son when he was exploring different interests and trying to find his passion. Like many parents, we tried a little bit of everything from sports to music, and I bought this guitar when he decided to take guitar lessons.

He attended roughly ten lessons before deciding guitar wasn't for him. As a result, the instrument saw very little actual use and spent nearly all of its life safely stored in its Gator hard case.

Because of that, this Stratocaster remains in exceptionally well-preserved condition. It was never gigged, toured, loaned out, or subjected to heavy use. There are no cracks, breaks, repairs, or significant cosmetic blemishes. The finish, neck, hardware, and electronics have all been remarkably well maintained.

Perhaps the most telling detail is that the guitar still wears its original factory strings from when it was purchased new in 2001. They have never been replaced. While a new owner will likely choose to install a fresh set, the original strings are a testament to just how little this instrument has been played over the past 25 years.

Included with the guitar are the original purchase receipt, owner's manual, Fender specification documentation, original hang tag, and Gator hard-shell case.
