1965 Fender Mustang Rosewood Fretboard w/ Original Case - Dakota Red

Here we have a ONE OWNER Fender Mustang from 1965. The original owner bought this guitar in 1965 along with a Princeton Reverb (for sale soon!). This guitar has been played.. a lot. Everything looks to be original. The Neck is dated December 1964, and the body, pots, and pickups are marked January 1965 when they completed the instrument. Our in house tech polished the frets and cleaned the entire instrument, however, this guitar is most likely in need of a re-fret and re-wiring to be a reliable player again. It plays well now, but the frets have just been worn down substantially. As is the case on most vintage Fender guitars with these mini 3 way switches, these electronic components needed a very meticulous contact-cleaning to function. There are a good amount of dings, dents, and scratches in the body, neck, and fretboard, but nothing that majorly effects playability. The neck is incredibly worn in and feels very comfortable and smooth. This guitar is NOT lacking in the vibe department, and is begging for a new place to call home.

This guitar will ship in its original case, heavily packed and protected, with bubble wrap surrounding the case, packed into a sturdy box with great care. The case is in decent shape other than missing 2 of the latches.
