Maxon Super 70 Zebra Pickups 1974 Matched Set Matsumoku Rare

This ad is for 2 Maxon Super 70 Zebra pickups. They are currently still in the 1974 Lincoln Les Paul made at the Matsumoku factory in Japan. The entire guitar is for sale in another ad. If you are interested in the entire guitar, please check out my other ad. If it sells, I will take this ad down. It is super rare to find a matched set of "Zebra" Maxon Super 70s pickups. They are highly sought-after 1970s vintage humbuckers known for their PAF-style clarity and bite. Originally shipped in classic Ibanez and Greco lawsuit-era guitars, "zebra" variants (featuring one cream and one black bobbin) are incredibly rare, as the vast majority were produced with open black coils or covered in gold/chrome. This set of pickups "Exposed Zebra Bobbins" is one of the most desirable configurations for collectors and players building tribute guitars. The highly regarded Matsumoku factory built higher-tier Lincoln Custom Les Pauls to closely mirror premium Ibanez models. The factory specifically utilized these high-quality, braided-shield leads on their elite Super 70 pickups during the early-to-mid 1970's. The stamp on the back indicates that these pickups were built September 7th 1974. I will unsolder and remove both pickups if you are definitely purchasing them. Both pickups will have the full length of wire and come with the 2 cream mounting rings, 4 pickup mounting screws, 2 springs.
