1970s Stage 25 Amplifier – Made in Japan
Cool vintage Japanese Stage 25 combo amplifier, manufactured for Unicord in the 1970s.
This amp has clearly been maintained and serviced over the years as needed and is currently functioning well. It sounds great, with a warm, punchy vintage solid-state character that pairs especially well with single coils, vintage humbuckers, garage rock, punk, and lo-fi tones.
Aesthetically looks great! Knobs and power switch have been upgraded.
Features include onboard reverb and tremolo, both classic hallmarks of many Japanese amplifiers from this era. The amp has plenty of vintage vibe while remaining compact, lightweight, and easy to transport.
Cosmetically, it shows normal wear consistent with age, including minor scuffs and signs of use on the cabinet, but overall presents very well for a nearly 50-year-old amplifier. Please review photos carefully for condition details.
A fun and increasingly hard-to-find piece of 1970s Japanese gear that sounds every bit as cool as it looks.
Will sell at a discount if you buy both this amp and the Univox Hi Flier Phase III guitar.
