WOLFGANG SPECIAL
The Wolfgang Special features a basswood body with an arched top and a graphite reinforced bolt on quartersawn baked maple neck. The neck is carved and rolled to Eddie Van Halen specifications and features a hand rubbed satin urethane finish on the back.
Built for high performance playing, the guitar features a 12 inch to 16 inch compound radius ebony fingerboard, or baked maple on Gloss Black models, with 22 jumbo frets and pearloid dot inlays.
A pair of custom designed EVH Wolfgang Alnico 2 humbucking pickups are direct mounted to the body for articulate response and sustain.
An EVH branded Floyd Rose locking tremolo and Floyd Rose locking nut provide tuning stability, while the EVH D Tuna allows quick switching to drop D tuning.
The guitar includes a volume control with treble bleed circuit and tone control.
