Good vintage condition overall.

The instrument shows finish checking throughout the top and normal cosmetic wear consistent with age and use. There is a crack present in the fingerboard, and the high E string currently frets out between approximately the 2nd and 4th frets. As such, some fretboard and/or fret work should be expected to bring the instrument to its absolute best playing condition.

Outside of that issue, the mandolin maintains good action and remains a lively, responsive player with plenty of vintage character.
