Made in Korea in the late 80s and early 90s, this vintage Vision HD-20CE NA acoustic-electric guitar stands as a testament to the robust craftsmanship of South Korea's golden era of instrument manufacturing. Built on a powerful dreadnought foundation, the guitar features a striking natural-finished top accented by a faux-tortoiseshell pickguard and a smooth Venetian cutaway designed for easy access to the upper register frets. The guitar features a comfortable "C" shaped neck profile that fills the palm of your hand without feeling overly thick or clumsy like older 1970s acoustics. Acoustically, the large body cavity produces a deep, booming bass response that provides a powerful low-end foundation, perfectly complemented by a warm, focused mid-range that allows vocal accompaniment to blend smoothly. Strummed chords possess a bright, crisp, and highly articulate high-end snap, giving the instrument an organic, woody punch that rings out with impressive natural volume. When plugging the guitar into an amplifier or PA system, the tone transitions seamlessly to the active onboard Artec AGE4 preamp system. Cosmetically, this guitar is in great used condition showing honest playwear from previous use along with a minor peeling where top meets the bottom of the guitar (See photos provided). All of the electronics are in working order, the neck is straight and the intonation is spot on. The action is excellent and there is little to no fret wear apparent from previous use.
