Dean Exile 7 USA Custom Shop 2021

One of a kind Dean 2021 USA Custom Shop Exile 7! Listed as a 2021 but was not completed until early 2022.

This is an absolute beast guitar. I bought it from the Dean player Gunnar DuGrey who custom ordered it for himself.

it has a swamp ash body with a beautiful Ziricote top. Cocobolo neck! Neck is wide, flat, and straight. It has two Bareknuckle buckers in it that are both coil tapped. You can make this thing sound like a Strat if you want. Beautiful clean tones! But, obviously this thing is built to rip. Clear defined heavy tones that don’t disappoint. Floyd Rose and Grover tuners. The pickups have custom Cocobolo covers and even the single volume knob is made of Cocobolo. This guitar is ridiculously cool.

Comes with documentation, OHSC, stickers, hang tag and locks for the case. (See photos)

I have never gigged it. I recorded a couple songs with it and played at home minimally. It has very light wear. Super minimal light fret wear consistent with light use the past 5 years. Hard to document anything other than a very light “smudge” on the bout and a tiny hairline crack near the strap button on the upper horn (Last picture). It was there when I purchased the guitar and has not changed nor does it affect the playability. It’s barely able to be photographed. It’s also missing one screw from the back plate which was also missing when I purchased it. I’ve kept the back plate off the entire time and the 5 original screws are included if you care to put it back on. Even the back plate is made from wood (swamp ash). I’ve never seen a guitar like this.

Recently checked out by my luthier and needed nothing.
