This is a hand-wired amp (I am an amp tech with years of building and repairing tube amps - I built this) to the exact specifications of a Soldano SLO 100, but it has 2 power tubes (instead of 4) to keep it at 50 watts. All parts are the best available, including O-Netics power and output transformers, just like the ones Soldano used The SLO 100 typically sells for $4000+ and the SLO 30 sells for $2900, so this is a steal. This is absolutely the real deal in every way except the name. You will note the logo has been intentionally misspelled -- having a little fun. Also will include a logo spelled correctly in the sale. Yes, all the controls go to 11!
Tone? -- Think: Warren Haynes, Gary Moore, Clapton, Van Halen, etc. Surprisingly beautiful cleans on the clean channel, too. Gain for miles on the lead channel. Each channel has clean/crunch switch.
Has a line output. Effects loop. Mike Soldano's design allows for super high gain with minimal noise. Channel switching with footswitch included.
Bias can be checked via the test points in back without opening case.
Dead mint. Less than 10 hours on it and never used outside of my smoke-free studio.
