PRS Private Stock instruments represent the highest level of craftsmanship from PRS Guitars, with each example individually hand selected and built using premium tonewoods and highly detailed specification choices. The Modern Eagle series has long been associated with refined, versatile high end builds, combining traditional inspiration with modern construction and electronics.

This 2011 PRS Private Stock Modern Eagle Quatro is a standout example, featuring a hand selected quilted maple top over figured mahogany back and neck, finished in a Purple stain. The fingerboard is Honduras rosewood with the Pattern neck carve, complemented by mother of pearl side dots and the signature Private Stock bird inlays with paua heart detailing. The headstock features a matching Honduras rosewood veneer with mother of pearl “J” inlay and paua heart centre.

Electronics have been upgraded to a Bare Knuckle Abraxas humbucker set, offering a more pronounced and dynamic output while retaining clarity and articulation. Hardware includes Phase III locking tuners, completing the high specification build expected from a Private Stock instrument.

The guitar is presented in exceptional condition, showing only very light signs of careful home use. There are two small areas of lacquer clouding along the neck edge between approximately the 12th and 17th frets, visible on close inspection but purely cosmetic.

It is supplied with its original Paisley Private Stock case and hand signed PRS spec sheet. 

This guitar has been given a full service by our luthiers at the Vintage Instrument Workshop, and includes a 2 year warranty.
