For sale is a beautiful example of the Sennheiser MD421-N dynamic microphone, dating to approximately 1968–1973 based on the serial number (140410) and light grey body construction.
A complete original set in this condition that has stayed together for over 50 years is quite a rare find.

About:
The grey body confirms early production — these are widely considered by engineers and collectors to sound smoother and warmer than later black-body versions, with a fuller 1k–3k Hz response and slightly softer top end. Used on countless classic recordings throughout the 1970s and beyond.
The original Tuchel connector is intact and the included adapter allows connection to any standard XLR input. Everything is original and unmodified.
