Built in Japan and modeled after the classic early-'60s Precision Bass, the PBD-62 combines vintage styling with the exceptional craftsmanship that made Fender Japan instruments so popular. This one features the traditional split-coil pickup, rosewood fingerboard, vintage-style tuners, and classic 3-tone sunburst finish.

This bass has just been cleaned, restrung, and professionally set up. It plays great with comfortable action and delivers the punchy, focused Precision Bass tone that works in virtually any musical setting.

Condition is very good overall. The bass shows normal cosmetic wear from use including scattered dings, scratches, finish marks, and small imperfections throughout the body consistent with age. Nothing excessive or out of the ordinary for a 30-year-old instrument.

The frets show only very light wear and have plenty of life remaining.

The neck pocket and neck heel markings are consistent with the PBD-62 model designation and appear original to the instrument. The bass has a great vintage look and feel while remaining a reliable player.

A fantastic Japanese-made Precision Bass that captures the classic Fender sound and feel at a fraction of the cost of its American vintage counterparts.
