Up for sale is a 1994-1995 Fender Japan Telecaster Custom in Black, built at the renowned Fujigen factory during what many players consider Fender Japan's golden era.

This guitar has just been professionally cleaned, restrung, and set up, and it plays exceptionally well. The classic Telecaster Custom layout pairs a Wide Range-style neck humbucker with a traditional Telecaster bridge pickup, providing everything from warm, full-bodied neck tones to the unmistakable snap and twang that Telecasters are known for.

The neck is comfortable and straight, the electronics function properly, and the guitar is ready for its next owner.

Cosmetically, this guitar shows honest player wear throughout. There are scratches, dings, finish chips, and signs of use consistent with a guitar that has spent decades being played rather than sitting in a case. The most noticeable wear is a finish chip along the lower body edge near the control section, along with additional smaller dings and marks throughout the instrument.

The frets show medium to heavy wear. The guitar still plays well with no immediate issues, but there is limited fret material remaining. Depending on playing style and future use, the next owner should expect that fret replacement or a complete refret may eventually be necessary.

Player-grade Fujigen-built Fender Japan instruments have become increasingly difficult to find, especially Telecaster Custom models. If you're looking for a vintage MIJ Fender with great tone, excellent playability, and decades of character, this one deserves a serious look.
