This heavily Upgraded and modified Squier Contemporary Starcaster in great condition with a well padded Guardian gigbag with neck nest and plenty of storage slots.

The upgrades begin with a much higher quality brand new Classic Vibe SQR maple neck with a mild flame/figure to it and has a great feel, the neck came with standard Squire Kluson style tuners which were upgraded to real Fender locking tuners so there are visible drill holes from the previous tuners but it looks professional. Now for the rest of the UPGRADES; Black Mass WR humbucker pickups, Dunlop Super Pots, Pure Tone 4 point jack, “F” logo neck plate, Schaller Strap Locks, “F” locking tuners, Graphtech Tusq Vintage style string tree for a Tusq tree, Fender witch hat set V/T knobs, a Gotoh tune-o-matic and a Gretsch style tailpiece, well over $600 in upgrades from the garbage that came with the Factory Starcaster. The new pickups are not active and the 9 volt battery plastic battery flip door caused rattle so much it was coming through the to the new high output pickups. The batter compartment was removed and then a piece of body wrap was cut to cover the hole, and then covered the wrap with the decal from Etsy. The body, switch, and pickup rings are the only original parts it is now left with.

The Squire (Squier) Starcaster is a semi-hollowbody offset guitar inspired by the '70s original.
