We have received a used Gibson Custom Shop Historic Collection 1958 Les Paul Junior in TV-Yellow VOS.
It features classic specifications, including a mahogany body, mahogany neck, and rosewood fingerboard. This is a popular double-cutaway model.
The neck has a thick profile typical of the 1950s, providing a comfortable grip.
The combination of the mahogany body and P-90 pickups delivers a powerful, direct sound, making it perfect for any playing style, from riffs to solos!
The simple 1-volume, 1-tone control setup is another appealing feature of this guitar.
In addition to the original VOS finish, there are numerous scratches on the body, buckle marks, and dents.
The area around the knobs and the lower part of the body where the elbow rests show a glossy finish due to wear.
There is a crack in the jack plate, rust on the screws, discoloration on the tuning peg buttons, dents and scuffs on the headstock, discoloration on the back of the neck, and paint cracks around the nut on the 6th string side.
Overall, this is a heavily used instrument, but it has been cleaned, fully adjusted, and had its frets leveled since arrival.
