The XTS Midrange Graphic mod was developed with Nashville session ace Tom Bukovac, who wanted an EQ focused entirely on the guitar's midrange- the frequencies that decide where you sit in a mix. XTS re-voices all seven sliders from the stock 100Hz-6.4kHz range down to 400Hz-4kHz. All guitar, no wasted bands.
The result is that small slider moves make musical changes instead of drastic ones. Push a solo forward, fill out a thin bridge pickup, tame a harsh amp, or run it as a clean boost that raises your presence in the mix rather than just your volume. The mod also significantly lowers the noise floor- the number one complaint with stock GE-7s.
This one is built on a Made in Japan GE-7.
