Can be used for guitar or bass because the Darkglass Element loads (and already has) both bass and guitar IRs, which can be customized on a companion app. Darkglass IRs are some of the best! The Element is also a super high quality DI (XLR output) that can send an aux in and Bluetooth audio to 2 separate headphone outputs alongside your guitar/bass.

The Preston Deputy is a pre-programmed HX Stomp MIDI pedal that lets you select snapshots and tap/tune without sacrificing the HX’s foot switches. The Deputy has a second page for 3 additional MIDI messages to send to the HX, and it has a pass-through for a 2 button foot switch if you want even more buttons (fs4-5 on the HX) while keeping the HX expression jack available!

The HX itself has some minor signs of wear, mainly that the encoders (knobs) are a little touchy - sometimes they jump more suddenly than expected when you turn them, and if you spin them fast their response is a little unpredictable. This has never stopped me from editing my presets exclusively on the HX itself, but I know a lot of people prefer the desktop app anyway.

Last is power, a now hard-to-find Vitoos DC8 with 3 isolated sections - 2 that can be individually set to 9, 12, or 18v, and a third that shares a handful of outlets (like a daisy chain). When outputs A or B are set to 9v, they supply 1000ma each so one of these is more than enough for the stomp, leaving you the other isolated 1000ma output plus the daisy chain section (isolated from A and B) for other pedals. The whole PSU runs off a wall wart style plug.

Comes with a generic aluminum mini board and I’ll include the power cables (one of which is specifically for the HX - 2.1mm on the PSU side and 2.5mm for the HX, this end marked with a white dot). The HX itself will be packed in its original box and includes the Line6 factory PSU.
