I have a 2023 ESP E-II Eclipse here with its hard shell case. This model is the quilted maple top version. I will post the known specs at the bottom of the listing.
Conditionally, this guitar looks excellent throughout and is easy to describe, so I will keep it brief.
It looks on the better side of excellent. The body top shows no describable marks that I can discern. There are very faint traces of superficial swirling type signs of use, but no accumulated patterns or any built up sheen of any of that. I did not find any buildup of any guitar pick strumming below the pickups. There are slight signs of use on the pickup covers, but no overt fading or any sort of smudging or deterioration on the hardware. It still looks excellent.
The body sides/edges and the body back look the same. I found no buckle rash or worming. No buildup of any soft pattern playwear. I found a couple micro surface superficial marks about a millimeter or two in size, but no noteworthy, describable, or noticeable marks of any kind. The overall luster and transparency of the gloss finish looks really crisp throughout on this guitar.
The neck shaft contour and the headstock look excellent, with nothing to describe there. The frets are tall and full, showing no fret wear. The setup plays nicely. The electronics are working as they should.
This one rates a 9.6/10 and grades as excellent. I found just minimal superficial traces of use on a gorgeous looking guitar that looks great all around from every angle. It is structurally and sonically sound and plays and sounds great.
The ESP Eclipse is a singlecut model reminiscent of a Les Paul Custom. But with it's own style and traits. Two other noteworthy tonal factors here are a mahogany body and ebony fretboard. Mahogany has a warm, midrange prominent tone. It gives excellent body and fullness to your tone. Ebony is a counterbalance to this. Ebony boards add clarity, and enhance note to note separation and distinction. In particular this is noticeable when you are playing with high amounts of preamp Gain/distortion. EMG active pickups also have that quality as well. So this guitar really articulates well with high gain.
Note that this listing may come down at any time as I am a multi-platform seller and do sell locally and on my own Site as well in an effort to keep sales fluid. State sales tax will be charged on Reverb sales when applicable, so factor that into your purchase.
I will immaculately pack it as well. I use quality shipping boxes, ample tape on all sides. And sufficient bubble wrap filler and bracing inside the box. And always marked/denoted as fragile. I generally detune guitars 1/2 half step prior to shipment as well if needed.
Thank you for reading and considering!
