Up for sale is a vintage Slingerland Super Sound King snare drum in the desirable 14x5 configuration. Made in the USA during the Niles era, this drum features the classic black & brass Niles badge with serial number 42441.
This is the sought-after model with the dual snare adjustment system / parallel style throw-off setup and internal tension rod assembly that sets these apart from standard Slingerland metal snares.
A very cool and increasingly hard-to-find vintage studio and player drum with tons of character.

Condition:
