Equipped with a duo of screaming Jackson humbuckers, the X Series Dinky DK1A is a superb shredder that covers everything from gain-laden chug to full-bodied cleans without batting an eye. What’s its secret? A somewhat uncommon humbucker pairing consisting of a high-output Jackson humbucker in the bridge and a high-output Mini Rail humbucker in the neck position. And while the high-power humbucker in the bridge is all but standard on Jackson’s entire range of searing 6-strings, the neck-position’s Mini Rail supplies a slightly brighter, clearer, and more balanced tone than a typical full-size humbucker. Finished off with a 3-way switch, the X Series Dinky DK1A is a true shredder’s delight that’s flexible enough to take on any 6-string situation.

Lightweight Nyatoh body in Jackson’s iconic Dinky body style (Nyatoh is a sustainable, cost-effective, and slightly denser alternative to mahogany, often termed "eastern mahogany," while true mahogany offers a warmer, classic tone, nyatoh is slightly brighter)
