quite A rare bird. A 1955 reissue roasted telecaster. With roasted ash body and roasted maple neck. Pickups are slightly underwound twisted teles. Not as under wound as the wildwood pickups only 10% underwound according to the floor traveler
Weight is about 7.5 pounds
This started off as a NOS thin skin, but after getting a few bumps along the way I decided to send it in to a boutique builder and have them professionally age the guitar. It turned out great and the satin neck feels so much better.
But please be aware this was originally NOT a relic from fender.
Includes original custom shop case, however the heel rest needs to be repaired as it’s come loose from the screw that was holding it in place. It still holds the guitar just fine for storage and it will be packaged well.
