High quality custom build bass. Fender body, Fender PUPS, and CTS POTS. Black tape wounds, likely LaBella Deep Talkin. The neck is not identified (possibly Musikraft or a custom luthier build) but in any case I suspect it was a rather expensive neck, as it is gloss maple w/ skunk stripe and fretless w/ white inlaid markers on a bakelite/micarta fretboard with headstock tear drop truss rod adjustment (truss rod works great and wrench included in the case).
The body alone now sells for $400 from Fender.
This is a great playing and sounding bass.
