Bert Kwakkel "Merula" guitar handmade in 1998. Here is a link to the guitar on his website: I bought this guitar from a famous Irish guitarist back in 2002 for 5000 euros. (Worth between 7500 and 8500 in today's money with inflation) My classical guitar career subsequently hit a halt and so it has spent most of its time in its case. The guitar today plays great and has good intonation. The intonation is sensitive to string brand (like most classical guitars) and I currently have D'Addario Pro Arte strings on all except the G and B strings which are Rotosound. Full disclosure: the guitar was in my brother's possession for a year and it suffered a crack on the headstock. I have had this expertly repaired at The Guitar Workshop in Dublin. The guitar plays great and is excellent value for such a powerful classical guitar.

I live in Waterford but can meet in Dublin if it is more convenient for trying out the guitar.
