This Supro Comet is in great condition for its age, with only a couple dings. A previous owner numbered the first four frets, and the finish on the fretboard has worn away slightly on the treble side near the bridge. The original Supro logo underneath the bridge has broken off, but the its outline can still be seen. There is a significant finish crack by the nut, but nothing out of the expected wear of a nearly 80 year old instrument. A previous owner also replaced the original tuners with a set of plate-mounted Kluson Deluxe tuners. The lap steel comes in at 5.2 lbs., and has a non-original gig bag. The mounted quarter-inch cable is of the same age and works but has some slight scratchiness to it.
