The JP-90 is a really cool hidden gem in the world of 1990s Fender. These basses are lightweight, ergonomic, and present a ton of tonal versatility with their PJ pickups and control layout. This example has been tastefully hot rodded to include passive Bartolini PJ pickups, which sound awesome!
This bass is in great shape for its age! As you would expect for a 35+ year old bass, it does show some cosmetic wear such as aging and discoloration in the finish, as well as a few small dings, scratches and other blemishes. The hardware shows light patina consistent with age. The frets play great, exhibiting only light play wear with plenty of life left. The electronics work as they should and this bass is ready to enjoy!
The pickguard screws are replacements, otherwise this bass is original.
This guitar comes freshly set up with D'addario Half Round bass strings.
