Gibson Les Paul R8 (2009) w/ OHSC & COA – Used
This 2009 Gibson R8 is a super sweet one! The guitar features a big, chunky neck with nice low action, and it plays effortlessly. The gorgeous lemon burst plain top shows off classic Gibson style, and despite a few cosmetic blemishes—including a small finish chip on the headstock—the instrument presents beautifully overall with excellent finish quality. Looks like it was aged slightly, the pickups and hardware mostly. Very cool vibe on this one.
The frets are in great shape with just a few small impressions in the open D chord position, leaving many years of life ahead. It’s simply a syrupy-sweet player with all of the Gibson goods you’d hope for in a top-tier Historic model.
It has just been set up and is playing like butter. At 8 lbs 15 oz, it has the right heft and resonance without being overly heavy. Includes the original hard case, COA, and case candy.
It took me years to find a good one like this with a cool vibe, but I just don't play anymore.
