Offered here is a rare and highly collectible 1994 Gibson Centennial Collection “1934 Jumbo” acoustic guitar, produced as part of Gibson’s 100th Anniversary celebration. This March 1994 Centennial model commemorates Gibson’s original 1934 Jumbo and was issued in an extremely limited run of only 100 instruments worldwide. 65/100
According to the original Gibson Centennial Collection literature, the 1934 Jumbo was designed as a customized version of Gibson’s original Jumbo model, honoring the guitars that helped define the sound of small combos and vocal groups during the 1930s. Gibson produced just twelve Centennial models throughout 1994—one for each month—with each model limited to only 100 examples.
Comes with the original case certificate, signed Gibson acoustic book, leather strap, shirt and poster.
Condition
This guitar has been exceptionally well preserved and presents in excellent overall condition for its age. The finish remains remarkably clean, with only light signs of careful ownership. There is a minor, professionally repaired finish issue at the back of the neck heel. The repair is stable, cosmetic in nature, and does not affect the guitar’s structural integrity, playability, or tone. Aside from this disclosed repair, the instrument remains in outstanding collector-grade condition.
