Offered here is an original mid-1960s Japanese-made tulip-style electric guitar body being sold as a restoration project. The body retains its original sunburst finish, loaded pickguard, original chrome-covered pickup, volume control, switch, neck plate, and vibrato assembly. The pickup measures approximately 5.7kΩ on a multimeter, indicating continuity through the coil, though the electronics have not been fully tested under string tension or through an amplifier. The rusty screws holding the pickguard to the body have been removed and all but one trashed. The best looking screw of the bunch is in place keeping pickguard and body attached.

This is a lower-spec thin-body plywood example typical of entry-level Japanese production from the period. The neck and bridge are missing, and the electronics appear to have been modified at some point. Cosmetic wear, finish chips, scratches, corrosion, and signs of age are present throughout. An excellent candidate for restoration, parts harvesting, or a vintage-inspired custom build.
