2003 Ernie Ball Music Man Stingray. Graphite Pearl, Rosewood fretboard.

The OG stingray. Sounds absolutely huge.

Ive owned a numerous Stingrays over the years, this is a good one, no doubt about it.

This is not a mint bass so you are buying "as is", but at certain angles you would not know it (especially the front on of what everyone sees). I will do my best to describe the condition especially for a 23 year old bass. If nothing else, please check photos.

I could describe every tiny thing I see but in summary, it has some player wear and dings and scratches here in there. I have done my best to show in the pictures. And to me, it is more dramatic to see these in the close up pics than in person. Some of them I didn't know were there until I looked for this ad. There may be more than what I could find.

But for a 23 year old bass that has been played, here are things I will point out.
Very little tarnish on the hardware.. there is a little but no rusty bits or anything... chrome shines.
I had the electronics maintained recently, these things deteriorate after time so you should not have to worry about electronics.
Fretboard is really nice, a little gunk buildup as per normal, that can be cleaned off, but front and back of neck and headstock really nice. Smooth fret edges.

Usual swirling on pick guard, ps these look killer with a moonstone pick guard.

The case has seen better days. But it is still fully functional. You can see some discoloration from a sticker on top in photo, many scratches and on bottom the plastic has delaminated from the case just a little (it bubbles out a little). In no way effects functionality and i tried to show that in the pic.

In summary though, killer vintage Stingray!
