New foams on the mids
I oiled the wood veneer to restore the grain, and it looks very good.
One bottom corner on each were chipped. I filled and touched them up, and it blends in quite well.
The IMF Compact Monitor III (CM3) is a classic 3-way standmount loudspeaker designed for accurate, phase-coherent monitoring. It is known for its detailed "holographic" soundstage and rich, American walnut aesthetic. [1, 2]
Drive Units: 8" plastic-cone bass unit, 4" plastic-cone mid-range, and a 1" soft dome tweeter. Rearward radiations are absorbed in separate, tapered cabinet sections to reduce resonances. [1, 2]
Frequency Response: 29 Hz to beyond audibility. [1]
Impedance / Sensitivity: Nominal 8 ohms; 84 dB efficiency (1m Pink Noise at 1 watt). [1]
Power Handling: Recommended amplifier power is 20 to 150 watts per channel. [1]
