The Electro-Harmonix Q-Tron Envelope Controlled Filter is an envelope filter (often called an auto-wah) pedal. Instead of using a foot treadle like a wah pedal, the Q-Tron automatically sweeps a filter based on how hard you play. The louder your input signal, the more the filter opens up.
- Drive (Up/Down) – Filter sweeps upward or downward.
- Peak – Controls resonance and intensity.
- Norm/Boost – Normal or boosted sensitivity/output.
- Gain – Adjusts how strongly the pedal responds to your playing.
- Range (Hi/Lo) – Changes the frequency range emphasized.
- Mode (LP/BP/HP/Mix) – Selects Low Pass, Band Pass, High Pass, or a blend of filtered and clean signal.
