Overview:
Everyone knows that the speakers in practice amps sometimes (but not all the time) do not produce the best sound. As a hobby, I beautify and modify them to be played through a speaker cabinet or an existing combo amp that will allow a speaker input (so long as the impedance is the same at 8 ohms and watts). They’re very lightweight, easy to handle, and sound much better than stock speakers. People often use these instead of pedals and find them to be surprisingly powerful, tonally diverse, and great sounding. It’s amazing what is hiding behind crappy speakers!!
This Amp:
1.A customized Fender Frontman 15G practice amp
2.Performance: Clean tones are bright and clear. The gain channel can get nasty in a good way. This little thing can get loud, too!
3.Size: 13” wide x 7” deep x 7” tall
4.Power: 38 watts / 8ohm impedance.
5.Has been fully cleaned and all pots have been treated with DeoxIT D5.
6.Speaker output installed in the back panel.
7.No internal electrical components have been modified.
Potential Issues:
1.Gain channel can get a little hummy when the gain is cranked, but the hum never gets too loud.
Please feel free to watch the video of this amp.
