This is a 1977 Hagstrom patch 2000 swede , it is a highly collectable and sought after Vintage instrument famous for being the world's first production guitar-to- synthesizer Hybrid. Itcwas a collaboration between Hagstrom and Ampeg. I have never used the guitar as a synthesizer, because i never owned the foot pedal. The patch 2000 as a guitar is a Fantastic playing and amazing sounding instrument that is more sought after today as a guitar rather than a Synthe. It has a solid Mahogany body with a set Mahogany neck and an Ebony fingerboard , medium scale length at 24.75 and nut width is approx. 1.75 " , it has 2 Hagstrom humbuckers that sound great , 3 Way pickup selector switch, 3 way tone switch , pearl block enlays , single cut away style body that models after the Original Swede , the neck is a very comfortable c shape that feels amazing in your hand ,has one cosmetic checking mark in the finish that blends with the wood grain and really can't even be seen and besides that really nothing in the way of dings or dents.
