A 1949 TV-front Fender Deluxe (5A3 circuit), brought back from the brink and ready for action. This amp has undergone a careful, period-minded restoration. It is safe, noise-free, reliable, and sounds quite incredible.
WHAT'S IN IT:
• Original transformers (Fender 1839 output, Triad 6452 power)
• 1950 Jensen P12R speaker, reconed by Gordon Kjellberg
• Period-correct tube complement (6SC7 preamp, 6V6 output, 5Y3 rectifier)
• New Mersen/F&T electrolytic filter caps and Jupiter film-and-foil coupling caps
• Repaired wiring, new rubber grommets, cleaned inside chassis and cabinet
• AC mains brought up to modern safety standards (three-prong grounded cord, death cap removed, correct fuse)
• Much more - See the service sheet
ALSO INCLUDED:
One of my Vintage Voltage Valveguards to control wall voltage. This specific amp has been tested to confirm it operates best between 116 and 121 VAC. ($250 value)
