2025 Fender Made in Japan Traditional 2025 Collection ’60s Jaguar – Competition Lake Placid Blue Matching Headstock – Limited Edition

Purchased brand new by me at Ishibashi Music in Tokyo in May 2026. This limited-edition Made in Japan Traditional 2025 Collection Jaguar was hand-selected during my trip to Japan and brought home to California in my personal luggage.

The guitar is in mint condition. The only sign that it has ever been handled is some extremely light pick wear visible on the pickguard. Aside from that, it is as clean as you’ll find without buying directly from a dealer. There are no dents, chips, scratches, buckle rash, or other cosmetic issues. Since arriving home from Japan, it has only been removed from its gig bag for photographs and has otherwise remained safely stored in the closet.

This particular example features a gorgeous metallic Competition Lake Placid Blue finish with a matching headstock, giving it a distinctive custom-shop appearance while remaining true to the classic Jaguar aesthetic.

The Traditional 2025 Collection revives Fender’s most beloved vintage designs with the precision and craftsmanship that have made Fender Japan instruments so highly regarded. Built with a basswood body, a comfortable “U”-shaped maple neck, a 9.5” fingerboard radius, and 22 vintage-style frets, it offers a modern playing experience while retaining the unmistakable character of a classic Jaguar.

The original Traditional-series Jaguar pickups deliver the articulate, chimey, and expressive tones that have made the Jaguar a favorite among surf, indie, alternative, and experimental players for decades. The vintage-style floating tremolo and 6-saddle bridge complete the authentic Jaguar experience.
