The C3000B was AKG's answer to the demand for an affordable large diaphragm condenser that could hold its own in professional and project studio environments. Introduced in the mid-1990s, it features a transformerless circuit design that contributes to low self-noise and a clean, relatively neutral response with a gentle presence lift — characteristics associated with the large diaphragm condenser format in general and AKG's design approach in particular. The C3000B includes a switchable bass rolloff filter and a -10dB pad, making it practical across a range of recording applications from vocals to louder acoustic sources. It occupied a significant market position during the project studio boom of the late '90s and early 2000s and remains a well-regarded utility mic in that price class.

We have no specific condition issues to report. The mic presents in excellent condition with no damage noted. Simple mic bag included.
