Built in 2019 by Trevor Healy, the OM is a classic 15” wide guitar with a Martin style X-bracing. The top is Sitka spruce with Quilted Mahogany back and sides. Trevor used Ebony for the head cap, fretboard and bridge. The headstock and inlays are hand cut Aluminum, as are the fretboard dots. Tortoise binding and pick guard give it a bit of red accent around the rim and top.
The nut is a wider 1 7/8” like a some vintage instruments. If you are comfortable on a classical guitar this might be a perfect cross over instrument. The scale length is 25 1/2” which is great for lower tunings and the string spacing at the bridge is slightly wider at 2 3/16”
The finish is nitrocellulose lacquer, 95 x 47 Jescar fretwire, bone nut and saddle, Waverly tuners and K&K pure mini soundboard transducer installed here. Hardshell case included.
