Here we have a 1960's Fender Blackface amplifier Vibrato-Reverb footswitch. It is fully original, cleaned, and tested by our technician of 40 years. Cosmetically a bit rough but ready to use in any of the vintage Fender amplifiers listed below.

These 2-button pedals control the Reverb and Vibrato on legendary amps like the Deluxe Reverb, Twin, Pro, Super, and Vibrolux Reverb amplifiers. They feature a hardwired cable terminating in two RCA phono plugs and utilize vintage Carling switches.

Vintage Specifications & Identification:

To verify an original 1960s Blackface footswitch, look for these key details:

• Enclosure: Stamped steel or die-cast housing finished in black crinkle/wrinkle paint.
• Text: Many original units do not feature the "Fender" logo stamped on the casing itself, though they originally came in a box with a Fender tag.
• Connectors: Must have two original, long cables ending in RCA-style phono jacks, not 1/4" jacks.
• Switches: Authentic units utilize vintage Carling SPST components.

Gordy's Music has become a Detroit institution! Our shop was used as a filming location for a few films like "Miracle in Motor City" a Christmas movie on Lifetime (featuring Smoky Robinson).
