This Fodera Yin Yang 4 Standard Special Bass Guitar is owned by Victor Wooten

Victor Wooten doesn't play just anything. For decades, the five-time Grammy winner, Bass Player of the Year (four times over), and founding member of Béla Fleck and the Flecktones has trusted Fodera with his voice on the instrument. This Yin Yang 4 Standard Special is one of those instruments — not a signature model commissioned for retail, but a bass that lived in his world.

Fodera built this one right: alder body with a flame maple top, 34" scale, brass nut, 24 frets, EMG pickups with an active/passive switch, and a 3-band onboard EQ. It plays exactly how you'd expect a Fodera to — clear, balanced, with that characteristic low-mid warmth that makes every note feel considered. The body shows minor playwear consistent with a working musician's life. Note that the stacked volume/tone knob is missing — a simple replacement, but disclosed in full.

What can't be replaced: provenance. A signature bass owned and played by Victor Wooten, sold directly from his personal Reverb shop.
