This is a special order API THE BOX 2. The original owner loaded this console with 8 API 550A Anniversary Edition equalizers. Only 50 were made in this special edition and 8 are in this unique console. These equalizers feature the original Saul Walker 550A design, using the same circuit board, components, and hand built switches. The console has gold finish from factory, which matches the finish of the 550A modules.

THE BOX 2 console features 8 input channels with API preamps built in, filter, insert and 16 channels for monitoring, mixing, or summing. All channels have a stereo and 2 mono auxiliary sends. The input channels accept microphone, line, and 4 instruments. The center section has an assignable dual mono/stereo compressor. It can be used in the input channels or for mix bus processing. Other nice features are talk back, monitor controls for cues, speakers, and headphones. The talkback func is pretty comprehensive.

The console has been recently tested thoroughly and its in perfect shape. All functions work well with no issues.

Aesthetically, the console is in near mint condition. The very only blemishes are a couple of spots near the faders. During transport something was rubbing the chassi. Its not very noticeable. Other than that, the console is spotless.
