Up for grabs we have here for sale is a prototype for Martin's electric line around 1980-81 for Sigma guitars. They made a very few of these to send out to Martin dealers to let them know what to expect in the coming days.

From what I've read and gathered over time investigating these beauties never made it to guitar shops for sale. Only a few dealers got them. They were made very well by the Chushin Gakki Guitar Co. Japan. Comprised of string thru and neck thru bodies they have amazing sound quality. In the end the price to manufacture and low profit margins scuttled this venture.

This guitar comes to you in a blue burst finish and has 2 Gotoh branded pickups that are hot! Everything has been extensively checked and given a clean bill of health, truss rod turns without issues, electronics work as they should, and the neck plays effortlessly without buzz.
