This pedal was developed to allow for easy use of a talking box/talking modulator!
This effect pedal adds a formant to the sound of your instrument, making it sound like a person is speaking. Like other effects pedals, it can be used simply by connecting it between your guitar and amplifier. Unlike traditional talking boxes, it doesn't require a microphone, PA system, or second amplifier. While it may not replicate the sound of more professional-grade units like the Jim Dunlop HT-1 or ROCKTRON RT1981 BANSHEE, you can still get a feel for the talking box sound, familiar from Jeff Beck, Joe Perry, and Peter Frampton, by holding the included microphone tube in your mouth while strumming your guitar. The psychedelic finish adds a stylish touch!
*Although this unit shows almost no signs of use, there is some deterioration in the sponge on the microphone portion of the tube.
*The volume from the tube is set lower than other talk boxes, so the operation and sound quality will differ from traditional units.
