Based on the serial number on the jack plate, this guitar was manufactured in 2006.
This Rose Morris features distinctive f-holes on the body top.
Currently out of production, it's a highly sought-after model, especially in overseas markets, where it fetches surprisingly high prices.
Although a limited edition of 24 1996 models were re-released in Japan in 2014, the f-holes were positioned at a shallower angle (1 octave), leading to a re-evaluation of the 2006 1996AFG, which is closer to John Lennon's original guitar. It remains a coveted instrument among fans.
This guitar truly possesses a unique look and sound.
The previous owner carefully maintained this guitar; there are few noticeable scratches or dents.
There is some slight thinning of the paint and fading of the topcoat due to age.
The Amber Fireglo color, combined with the aging process, has a refined and aged appearance.
The frets and nut retain their original height.
