Early 1960’s Karl Hauser model 730 with case. Guitar has a beautiful sound and has a unique feature near the tuning pegs. The original owner (assuming) had placed a sticker with name and address in N.Y.C. Makes you wonder if this guitar made an appearance at Woodstock.
Guitar is in great shape and the resonance of the lower bass strings is unreal. It has the same sound and feel of a larger dreadnought, but in a smaller package. This is a testament of materials and craftsmanship of Karl Hauser/ Höfner brand out of West Germany.
This is a collectors guitar no question. She needs to be played, appreciated, and preserved for future generations.
