Cool little channel strip gadget. Features a balanced mic input w/ switchable 48volts phantom power; or switch to line input; preamp gives up to 60dB of gain w/ an led peak indicator; next in line is an optical compressor w/ compression ratio, attack, and release controls; switchable compressor in/out and a 4-led compression meter; next is a 4-band "mee"qualizer that is switchable in/out; followed by an output gain section, which has a 9-led level meter and sweeps from off to +16. The outputs are switchable between -10dBV or +4dBV. There is an unbalanced insert send/return on a single TRS jack which requires an intermediate adapter that splits with send on one leg(tip) and return on the other leg (ring.) There is also another rear-panel TRS 1/4" jack labeled "MIX" which allows you to insert a signal (post compressor and EQ) for cue playback when recording or for a music track to play along with. This follows the output gain pot. This unit is blemish-free, and has a lovely green finish w/yellow lettering! Power supply wall wart is included. All together a very handy and robust unit that sounds good, has nice feeling switches and potentiometers, does all the things you need it to, and doesn't cost an arm and a leg.
