The 1978 Ibanez ST100 was manufactured in Japan, specifically by the FujiGen Gakki factory. That era marked a golden age for Japanese craftsmanship, and FujiGen was known for producing high-quality instruments that rivaled their American counterparts. The ST100 was part of Ibanez’s Studio series and featured a distinctive blend of maple, mahogany, and walnut woods, with meticulous attention to detail in both construction and tone. A real gem from the late '70s!
Yes... Vintage Gear does have a few bruises. This piece, very few. It's a beast! A major player w/ incredible tone!
This item will not sell for any less than it's asking price (and, if it does not sell I will most likely be glad it's staying right where it is...). Just sayin'... it's a no-disappointment piece, folks! Is As-IS... and all sales are final.
Please make sure to ask all questions prior to ordering.
I do unfortunately only ship to the 48 U.S. Continental States and all used gear is sold as-is. I do ship within 24hrs. of your purchase payment.
Disclosure: ALL GUITARS MAY REQUIRE A SET UP!!! Players have such varied opinions that I no longer want to hear about it.
Thank you for looking!
